Gopher WBB Rallies for win

(Evason, IL) — The University of Minnesota women’s basketball team fought back from an 11-point deficit at 76-65 with 6:14 remaining in the fourth quarter to knock off the Northwestern Wildcats 87-82 on the road Sunday afternoon. The Golden Gophers had three players score in double figures, led by Grace Grochoski, who recorded a double-double with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Amaya Battle added 18 points, six rebounds and six assists and Tori McKinney helped out with 13 points and four assists. The win moves the Gophers record to 17-2 on the season and 5-2 in the Big Ten. Wednesday they’ll host Michigan for a 7 P-M tip at Williams Arena.
