Gopher Womens BB goes to 10-0

(Minneapolis, MN) — The University of Minnesota women’s basketball team raced to a 33-6 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back, beating North Florida last night at Williams Arena 90-44. The Golden Gophers remain unbeaten at 10-0 on the season with the victory, while the visiting Ospreys dipped to 2-7 on the year. Six Minnesota players scored in double figures, including Grace Grocholski and Annika Stewart, who registered 15 points apiece. The Gophers forced 20 North Florida turnovers and held the Ospreys to 29-percent shooting for the game. Minnesota will open Big Ten play with a game at Nebraska on Sunday at 1 P-M.
