(Lincolin, NE) — The Minnesota women’s basketball team (10-1, 0-1 Big Ten) had 11 fewer turnovers than Nebraska, but fell 84-65 to the Cornhuskers (8-1, 1-0 Big Ten) on the road Sunday. The Golden Gophers had four players score in double figures, led by Mallory Heyer, who had 12 points and eight rebounds. Tori McKinney tacked on 11 points and two steals while Alexsia Rose and Grace Grocholski helped out with 10 points.
