GOVERNOR WALZ ORDERS FLAGS AT HALF STAFF IN HONOR OFF FALLEN MPLS OFFICER

Governor Walz has ordered all United States and Minnesota Flags to fly at half-staff at all state buildings in Minnesota starting at sunrise today (Friday) to honor Minneapolis Police officer Jamal Mitchell who was killed in the line of duty responding to a call Thursday evening.   Individuals, businesses and other organizations are also encouraged to lower their flags.
