Governor Walz State of the State Address Tonight

Tonight Governor Tim Walz will speak to all Minnesotans in his State of the State Address. Republican Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson of East Grand Forks says he wants to hear the governor talk about the work ahead.

“Well I would like to hear that he wants to stay here. He wants to work on finishing the session on time and in a very bipartisan manner.”

DFL Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy says she’s more interested in hearing the governor talk about the progress the state is making to remain a great place to live. The governor’s address begins at 7 o’clock tonight.
