Gregory S. Zimmerman

Gregory Zimmerman, age 75 of Morris, Minnesota, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Visitation for Gregory  Zimmerman will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris, MN.

Memorial services for Gregory Scott Zimmerman will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris, MN, with Pastor Emmy Swedlund officiating.

Military Honors will be provided by the Morris American Legion, VFW, and AmVets.

Burial will be held at a later date.

Gregory Scott Zimmerman, the son of Harley and Rose Zimmerman, was born on November 2, 1948 in Wadena, MN.

He attended Anoka High School. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969 serving in Viet Nam for one year. While serving, he was exposed to Agent Orange which greatly affected his health beginning at the age of 21.

Gregory worked at Pentair Technical Products in Anoka, MN, for 40 years.

On May 7, 2011, he married Nancy Colrud at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris. The couple made their home in Morris, MN.

He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and hunting, woodworking, and getting together with family. He loved wildlife décor and displayed it all over the house. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW in Morris and Faith Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy; son: Wesley; granddaughters: Isabelle and Gabrial; step-daughter: Heidi Hens and her children, Kyle, Mira, and Nadia; step-son: Shawn Colrud; sister: Judy; sister-in-law: Cheryl; special friends: Jason and Amanda Day and Lailah; along with his dogs: Lucy and Lexi.
