Harris Picks Walz as VP Running Mate

(ABC News) The Democratic ticket is set.

Vice President Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.

The 60 year old governor is a military veteran, former member of Congress, and an educator.

He has enacted a robust Democratic agenda in Minnesota, including paid family and medical leave, protections for abortions right, universal free school meals for students, and protections for gender-affirming care.

The two will begin campaigning together today (Tuesday) in Pennsylvania.
