Heat Warnings for Central/Southern MN
(Learfield News/Minneapolis, MN) — The National Weather Service says excessive heat will linger across central and southern Minnesota today (Mon).
Forecasters say today will be sunny and hot, with a high in the low 90s and heat index values over 100 degrees.
An excessive heat warning has been issued for this afternoon and this evening for the Twin Cities area and most of southern Minnesota.
A cold front will move in later today, creating a chance for severe thunderstorms tonight and early tomorrow.
