Heat Wave Expected in MN this Weekend
(Learfield News/Chanhassen, MN) — It looks like the first heat wave of the summer will arrive later this week in Minnesota.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Melissa Dye says we’re looking at high temperatures in 90s across much of the state this weekend, even up north to the international border.
She says high humidity will be widespread as well.
Dye says Sunday will be the hottest day with the Twin Cities, central, and northern Minnesota seeing their first 90-degree highs of the summer.
