Finals from the local schedule Thursday night:

Edgerton defeats Cathedral 28 to 14, MVL shuts out Sibley east 28 to 0, SE United does the same to YME 28 to 0, Springfield was a 34 to 7 winner over Adrian/Ellsworth, WEM defeats GFW 26 to 8, Wabasso picks up a 18 to 8 win over Maccray, Renville Cty west was a 40 to 6 winner over Red Rock Central and Westbrook/WG defeats BLHS 42 to 14.

New Ulm Boys and girls soccer was postponed. The Boys Play St James area tonight, the Girls match will be made up September 6th.

A couple of volleyball matches:

St peter 3 to 0 winner over Worthington and Cedar Mountain was 3 to 0 winner over Madelia.

One tennis final:

St James defeats Luverne, 7 to 0. The rest of the tennis schedule was postponed.
