Highway 14/Highland Avenue Project Open House

MnDOT will hold an open house on the Highway 14/Highland Avenue roundabout project on April 17 at the New Ulm Municipal Airport.  No formal presentation is planned and you can come and go as you please.  MnDOT staff and the contractor will be at the open house to answer questions and provide information.  The project includes constructing a single-lane roundabout at Highway 14/Highland Avenue along with a new sidewalk and a trail to connect existing locations and also lighting.  Construction is expected to start in early may and wrap up on early July, weather permitting.  Traffic will be detoured.  M.R Paving and Excavating was awarded the project with a bid of over $2.2-million.  The open house will be Wednesday, April 17 from 3:30 to 5.
