FATAL CRASH SOUTH OF SEARLES

A New Ulm woman was killed in a collision between Jeep Compass and a  Ford F250 Wednesday morning.  The state patrol says they were called at 5:31 am to the collision on Highway 15 at mile marker 50 south of Searles.  Authorities say the Jeep was driven by 29-year-old Guadalupe Miramontes of New Ulm.  She was killed.  The Ford was driven by 21-year-old Hunter Grathwohl of Fairmont.  He was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  New Ulm police and fire department, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
