Highway 19 Reopens Near Henderson

(Learfield News/Henderson, MN) — A road near Henderson that closed in late June due to rising floodwaters has finally reopened.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that Highway 19, east of the city, is now open to Highway 169.

Crews will remove detour signs in the next few days as the water from the Minnesota River moves away from the roadway.

MnDOT is also removing a dike on Highway 169 near Le Sueur, and only one lane will be open until that work is complete.
