Highway 28 Detour Temporarily Changes August 3
Drivers traveling through the Highway 28 construction zone between Morris and Starbuck will follow a temporary detour beginning Monday, August 3rd.
For approximately four to five days, through-traffic will use Highway 28 between Morris and Cyrus, then County Road 3 to connect with County Road 18 and Highway 29.
Part of the route through Cyrus will be gravel. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
Highway 28 will remain closed between Dahl Street in Cyrus and John Street in Starbuck. Once paving on Stevens County Road 10 is completed, all of Highway 28 will again close to through-traffic.
The schedule is weather-dependent and could change. MnDOT Highway 28 project
