HIGHWAY 93 BETWEEN HENDERSON AND HIGHWAY 169 TO RE-OPEN TUESDAY
Highway 93 between Henderson and Highway 169 is expected to open Tuesday at 3 pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 pm on the new overflow bridge southeast of Henderson. You are invited to that event. Highway 93 has been closed and under construction since 2024. MnDOT says the project included raising Highway 93 approximately eight feet, putting it one foot above historic high-water events. It also reconstructed 3.6 miles of Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Elm Street in Henderson, replaced the Rush River Bridge, constructed an additional overflow bridge to allow for Rush River flood relief. There will be some minor traffic impacts as the contractor finishes up the remaining work.
