Hutchinson Council Discusses Cannabis Regulation
Now that cannabis is legal in Minnesota, many cities are looking at if they should or should not operate a municipal dispensary and how they may or may not be able to regulate them.
The Hutchinson City Council had such a discussion Tuesday evening.

If the city ultimately decides to have a municipal dispensary, Jaunich says it would not be an exclusive operation:
Jaunich said the state received 1,800 initial applications with eight of those for Hutchinson.
Of the total, 280 cannabis business licenses will be allocated before the end of the year, with dispensaries opening to the public sometime next year.
