Hutchinson Health Named Top 20 Rural and Community Hospital

HUTCHINSON, Minn. – Hutchinson Health was recently named one of the top 20 rural and community hospitals in the country by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA).

The Top 20 Rural and Community Hospitals are selected from the Top 100 list, compiled each year by the Chartis Center for Rural Health.

Hospitals on these lists are identified using the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX, which measures comprehensive performance in a variety of categories, including quality, outcomes, patient perspective and financial practices.

“We’re honored to receive this distinction,” said Nate Pulscher, president of Hutchinson Health. “It’s a testament to the dedication and excellence of our colleagues. Their unwavering commitment to improving health and well-being – in partnership with our members, patients and community – is what makes this achievement possible.”

To receive a top 20 designation, Hutchinson Health achieved one of the highest overall performance rankings in the nation.

The NRHA will honor Top 20 Rural and Community Hospital honorees this May during its Annual Rural Health Conference in Atlanta, Ga.
