Hutchinson Man Sentenced in 2022 Rape

A Hutchinson man has been sentenced to more than 7 years in prison for raping a 13-year-old girl in Danube in 2022.

Twenty-four-year-old Jordan Frietag was sentenced in Renville County District Court Tuesday to 85 months after pleading guilty earlier this year to 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct..

As part of a plea agreement, five other charges were dropped.

During the attack, the victim was held down by 22-year-old Kelsey Jones of Willmar.

Jones was sentenced to 360 days in jail earlier this year after also entering into a plea agreement.
