Illinois Ticket Wins $1.04 Billion Powerball Jackpot

A single ticket sold in Illinois matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing to win an estimated one-point-zero-four-billion-dollar jackpot.

The winner can choose annual payments or a lump-sum cash option worth about 450-and-a-half-million dollars before taxes.

The winning numbers were 4, 26, 66, 67 and 69. The Powerball was 9, and the Power Play multiplier was two.

No Minnesota ticket won the jackpot or a Match Five prize. Million-dollar tickets were sold in Arizona, California, Florida and North Carolina, while a Massachusetts ticket won two million dollars with Power Play.
