Investigation Closed in Montevideo Bartender Death

(Learfield News/Montevideo, MN) – Police and the Minnesota BCA have closed their investigation into the 2023 death of a Montevideo man.

On September 18th (2023), 69-year-old Mitchell Twite’s body was found in a lot across the street from Inn Like Flinn’s bar.

Twite was a bartender there and had worked the night before.

Police say Twite died of self-inflicted stab wounds.
