Investiture Ceremony for MN Supreme Court Justice Hennesy

(Learfield News/St. Paul, MN) — New Minnesota Supreme Court Associate Justice Sarah Hennesy will officially take the oath of office in St. Paul today (Thursday).

Governor Tim Walz and other dignitaries are scheduled to attend the investiture ceremony for Justice Hennesy.

She was previously the chief judge of the Seventh Judicial District in Stearns County.

Walz said Hennesy’s experience working in greater Minnesota will benefit the Supreme Court.

She is replacing Justice G. Barry Anderson who retired in May.
