It’s Official- Lainey Wilson Is A Member Of The Grand ‘Ol Opry

Lainey Wilson was officially inducted into the Grand ‘Ol Opry by none other than country superstar power couple Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood.

Garth told Lainey, “There’s going to be highs. There’s going to be lows. The awards they give you now and you continue to receive will fade in time. The one thing that will continue is this family right here. Welcome to it.”

We don’t think any of this honor will be lost on Lainey because she said, “As a little girl, I didn’t dream about my wedding day… I dreamed about this right here. I dreamed about what song I would play in the circle if I got the opportunity.”

Little Lainey would definitely be proud of what that country girl grew up to accomplish singing not just one song but many: “Dreamcatcher,” “Things A Man Oughta Know,” “Heart Like A Truck,” “Watermelon Moonshine,” and “Hang Tight Honey.”
