James Henry Evers

James Henry Evers, 91, of North Mankato and formerly of Saint James, died December 10, 2025, at the Benedictine Living Community in Saint Peter. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00am, at Saint Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Saint James with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial with military honors will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Saint James. The family prefers memorials be given to Peace Lutheran Church in North Mankato or Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in New Ulm.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James.
