James “Jim” Richter, age 76, of Norwood Young America, Minnesota, passed away Sunday February 22, 2026 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Church Of The Ascension in Norwood Young America. Interment in the church cemetery. Gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. and Tuesday, March 10, 2026 one hour prior to the Mass, all at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.
