Help Foster kids around the area by donating NEW Socks or Underwear to The Closet in their Seats and Feet October event. You can donate New in the package Socks or Underwear at: Hutchinson public schools–Glencoe Silver Lake public schools–New Discoveries Montessori school–CrossPoint Church, Hutchinson–Our Savior’s Church, Hutchinson–Hunters Ridge Church, Hutchinson–Kidz Junction Childcare, Hutchinson. All sizes are appreciated, but older youth and teen sizes are most in need currently.

The Hutchinson American Legion Auxiliary Unit 96 will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday, October 16, 7pm, at the VFW.

St Anastasia Church has their annual rummage sale on Thursday Oct 17th and Friday, Oct 18th. Hours Thursday 8a-6p, and Friday 8a-4p. Friday is bag day, fill a bag for $3. Winter Coats and Jackets are $1.

A fundraiser for Kristen Riley will be held on Saturday, Oct 19th from 2-8 pm at Shaggy’s Bonfire and Grille of Litchfield. Enjoy kids games, activities and more from 2-4 pm. Then from 4-8 it’s a pulled pork sandwich meal, auction, raffle, and door prizes.

St Peter Lutheran Church of Lester Prairie is holding their Fall Festival on Sunday, October 27th from 11a-1p. Serving a meal for a free will offering and shop the silent auction and holiday store. Music performed by Nancy Buckentine.

St Andrew’s Catholic Church of Fairfax invites you to their annual Fall Bazaar on Saturday, November 2nd. Serving their famous Apple Dumplings and Cinnamon or Caramel Rolls throughout the morning. A lunch of Potato or Vegetable Beef Soups, Turkey Supreme or BBQ Sandwiches will be served from 10:30a-12:30p. Crafts, Bake Sale, Country Store, and a raffle are also available.

A taste of the Holidays is coming up on Saturday, November 2nd from 8a-3p at the Silver Lake Auditorium. Shop the crafts and goods, enjoy drinks and visit with Santa. Lunch served by the Silver Lake Womens Club from 10:30a-1p.

The Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Renville is having their annual Turkey Dinner on Sunday, Nov 3rd. Serving from 10:30a-12:30p at Dave’s Place in Reville. Serving Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and more. All Meals are $15. Dine in or Take out available.
