The Woodbury Chorus and Orchestra will present “Music for the Soul”, at 4:00 p.m., April 19, 2026, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia. A free-will offering will be taken, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit the Renville County Food Shelf. The concert is free, and no tickets are required.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Eden Valley is hosting their Smelt and Fish Fry on Saturday, April 25th, serving from 11a-7p (or until gone). All you can eat for $20 per person, Ages 7-12 $10. Serving Smelt, Cod, Potato Salad, Beans, Coleslaw and more. Don’t forget to shop the church bake sale as well.

Glencoe Regional Health will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, April 29 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Glencoe City Center. As a special perk, blood donors will receive a $15 e-gift card to the merchant of their choice from the American Red Cross. Cups and Conversation will be on Saturday, May 2 from 9:00 am -10:30 am at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Bring your coffee cup and a friend for coffee/treats, fellowship and an information session entitled “Dementia Friends” presented by Melissa Wentzel who is a program developer with the Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging. This session helps everyone to understand what dementia is and how it affects people and how each of us can make a difference for people touched by dementia.
