KDUZ/KARP/KGLB Community Calendar
NOW-Aug 13, 2026: The Hutchinson School District will be offering free breakfast and lunches to all kids ages 18 and under regardless of income, school district and other social guidelines. Two separate sites will be offering meals to the public from June 8th – Aug 13st (M-Th). Hutchinson Middle School will be Dine In and “To Go” meals and The Aquatic / Rec Center will only be offering “To Go” meals. Similar to last year, weekend “To Go” meals will be offered on Thursdays at the Hutchinson Middle School. Parents and children will be able to pick up lunch for Thurs, breakfast and lunch for Friday thru Sunday and Monday breakfast. That’s 8 meals at one time!! Dates & times are listed below. Volunteers are also appreciated if interested. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions please contact Anne Hillstrom at anne.hillstrom@isd423.org or by calling 320-234-2717. Below are the dates, times, and locations for the program.

June 18, 2026: Benefit for Atanas Dinning is coming up Thursday, June 18th at Meghans Place in Hutchinson from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Serving Sloppy Joe’s and Ice Cream, Plus take part in the Silent, Auction, Games and more! All proceeds benefit Atanas as he recovers from Cancer Surgery.

June 20, 2026: The public is welcome to attend the Cokato Finnish American Historical Society’s Mid-summer Kokko (bonfire) on Saturday June 20, 2026 at 6:30pm. Ville Besonen will present his film on Finland MN in the Temperance Hall. Then in the school yard, potluck desserts will be served followed by the traditional bonfire (weather permitting).

June 27, 2026: The Friends of the Howard Lake Library are hosting their annual book/movie/puzzle sale on Saturday, June 27th from 9 am to 1 pm. The sale is located in the Howard Lake City Offices at 625 8th Avenue. We have many wonderful books. Most are priced at 25 cents or 50 cents. At 12:30, fill one of our bags with books for only $1! We hope to see you there!
