Kelly Denise (Meyer) Scott

Kelly Denise (Meyer) Scott, age 67 of Belle Plaine, passed away on Thursday February 26,
2026. A time for visitation will be from 2-6p.m on Saturday, March 7, at the Kolden Funeral
Home in Belle Plaine, MN.
Kelly was born in New Prague on December 9, 1958 to Richard and Donna (Bristol) Meyer. She
grew up in Belle Plaine and graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1977. Kelly worked at
Entegris for over 35 years. Kelly enjoyed spending time with her family. Kelly participated in a
bowling and softball leagues when she was younger. Kelly enjoyed spending time with her
friends and going out of town for Mother/Daughter weekends. Kelly enjoyed the outdoors,
participating in fishing and riding ATV’s. Kelly also enjoyed spending time with her two dogs,
Jasper and Josie.
She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Meyer and significant other Dan Gebhardt.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Meyer; daughter Jamie Meyer; sons, Shane (Jenn) Scott
and Chris (Peggy) Scott; grandchildren, Hunter Scott and Addison Anquist; her siblings, Shelly
Lenz, Dan Meyer and Brad (Kim) Meyer; nieces Shannon (Aaron) Meyer and Kayla (Jovonte)
Johnson; great niece Mckenze Carlson and great nephew Amar`e Hoard. She will be forever
loved and missed by her family and friends.
