Klobuchar Unveils Health Care Affordability Plan

U.S. Senator and DFL-endorsed candidate for governor Amy Klobuchar has announced a health care plan she says would lower costs and improve access across Minnesota.

The proposals include efforts to reduce insurance premiums and prescription drug prices, strengthen rural hospitals and clinics and support safety-net health care providers.

Klobuchar’s plan also calls for modernizing aging medical facilities, maintaining emergency medical services and expanding Minnesota’s health care workforce.
