Large Escort for Wall That Heals Arrival

The “Wall That Heals” is set to arrive in Hutchinson next week and will be getting quite an escort.

The traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial arrives in Glencoe on Tuesday and will then be escorted to the public viewing site in Hutchinson.

The semi and escort are scheduled to leave Glencoe at 2pm Tuesday:

Arrival through Hutchinson is scheduled to be around 2:30pm and residents are invited and encouraged to line the streets and welcome the procession:

The traveling memorial and education center will be set up at 1150 Benjamin Avenue SE and will be open for public viewing from midnight Thursday (Aug 22) through 2pm Sunday, August 25.
