Larry Paul Lehman

Larry Paul Lehman, age 68 of Le Sueur, died suddenly on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Le Sueur. Memorial services will be on Monday, December 2, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the church that morning, one hour prior. Burial will be at a later time at the Tyrone-Salem Cemetery. Lunch will follow immediately after the service.

Larry was born on December 19,1955 in Doniphan, MO to Forest and Kura (Mizamura) Lehman. The family moved to Wisconsin for a short time before settling in the Union Hill area. He married Cindy (Preuhs) on June 4,1988 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Henderson. Larry worked at Le Sueur Incorporated for over 46 years and was a second shift supervisor, retiring in Dec 2020. Larry had a strong affection for animals, often feeding and providing shelter for the local strays to be comfortable during the cold Minnesota winters. He enjoyed helping family and friends with chores around their homes and farms and his extensive toy tractor collection. Larry also enjoyed mowing lawns for the local rural cemeteries and volunteering at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur and the Le Sueur Food Shelf. He enjoyed his time with family and friends, especially cheering on his granddaughters at their volleyball and softball games.

He is survived by his wife Cindy, children; Lia (Craig) Malecha of Le Sueur and Mike (Stacie) Lehman of Le Sueur, MN, granddaughters; Bailey, Evelyn and Colie Lehman. Siblings; Sandra Johnson, Wayne Lehman, Dale (Donna) Lehman, Ron (Rena) Lehman, Linda (Terry) Jandt, Brenda (Willard) Rancour, Scott (Sue) Lehman, Alan (Lisa) Lehman and Brian Lehman. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and his dear companion “Scruffy” will miss him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, Alvin & Hazel Preuhs.
