Larry Weber

Larry Leo Weber of Goodridge, MN passed away Saturday March 14, 2026, at his home in Goodridge.

Born on August 14, 1958, in Appleton, WI to Leo Weber and Anne (Kees) Heden. After moving to the Goodridge area in 1970. Larry joined the army in 1978 and was stationed in Texas for four years with an honorable discharge.

Larry was united in marriage in June of 1977 to Sarah Skibicki where she helped raise his three children.

Larry joined the Goodridge fire department in 1981. Larry created the first responders in Goodridge in 1996 then retired in 2018 after 37 years of service.

Larry worked as an over the road truck driver, and in the spring and fall helping area farmers. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and telling stories.

Larry is survived by his former wife Sarah Weber; children Steven Weber, Amanda (Michael) Smith and Katie Weber; Grandchildren Brienne, Levi, Wyatt, Aryck and Jameson; Sisters Mary Lynn (Charles) Tio, and Shirley (Les) Schmit; Brother John Heden; Father Leo Weber; many nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded by Mother Anne Heden and stepfather Russell Heden, Baby niece Rose Marie.

Funeral service for Larry will be held 11: 00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Ekelund Lutheran Church near Goodridge, MN with Reverend Kris Snyder officiating. Burial will be held at Ekelund Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN, and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
