LaVerna Berg, age 93 of New Ulm, died peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Sleepy Eye Care and Rehabilitation Center in Sleepy Eye. A funeral service will be at 11am on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH chapel in New Ulm, with Father Gerald Meidl officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Wednesday, prior to the
service at the funeral home.
