Liberty Sweep Top-Seeded Lynx Out of Playoffs

The Minnesota Lynx season is over after an 87-to-71 loss to the New York Liberty Tuesday night.
Eighth-seeded New York completed a two-game sweep, becoming the first number-eight seed to eliminate a number-one seed in W-N-B-A playoff history.

Courtney Williams led Minnesota with 18 points. Jonquel Jones finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Liberty, while Breanna Stewart also scored 21.
