Lightning Suspected in Northern Minnesota House Fires

Lightning is suspected in at least three residential fires reported across northern Minnesota Tuesday morning.

One home near Whiteface Reservoir was destroyed. Preliminary reports say the two people inside escaped safely with their dogs.

No additional damage or injury information was immediately available.
