Lindell Leaves MyPillow CEO Role to Focus on Governor’s Race

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell is stepping down as the company’s chief executive to focus full-time on his campaign for Minnesota governor.

The company says Lindell has reduced his ownership to a minority stake but will remain on its board of directors.

James Furlong, who previously served as MyPillow’s president, has been named the company’s new CEO.

Lindell is seeking the Republican nomination in the August 11th primary.

His campaign has also faced questions about his voter registration and purchases from MyPillow. Lindell says he returned to Minnesota more than a year ago and that his campaign followed state rules. No official finding of a campaign-finance violation was located.
