Fairmont holds off New Ulm to pick up a 65 to58 win, the twin towers, Oliver Tordsen and Logan Junkermeier scored 28 and 27 fro the Cardinals, Jackson County Central edges St Peter 64 to 60, St James was a non league game over Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 78 to 63, Redwood Valley was a 70 to 42 winner over Worthington, Cathedral defeats Lester Prairie 67 to 61, Wabasso was a 78 to 70 winner over St Mary’s, Sleepy Eye defeats BLHS 70 to 40, MVL was a 70 to 56 winner over GFW, Cedar Mountain remains unbeaten with a 82 to 69 win over Cleveland, Sibley East picks up a 59 to 54 win over Tri City United, Waseca wins a section game over LCWM 87 to 45, Lesueur/Henderson was a 63 to 57 winner over Waterville/Elysian/Morristown, Blue Earth defeats St Clair 67 to 64, Madelia was a 67 to 60 winner over Martin County West, Loyola defeats Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons 85 to 59 and Westbrook/Walnut Grove was an 80 to 68 winner over Windom.

Girl’s Basketball finals:

New Ulm has four in double figures to win their fourth in a row 85 to 59 over Fairmont, St Peter defeats Jackson County Central 70 to 62, St James was a 74 to 61 winner over Maple River, Minneota defeats Redwood Valley 56 to 51, Lester Prairie was a 72 to 47 winner over Cathedral, St Mary’s picks up a running time win over Wabasso 93 to 23, Sleepy Eye beats BLHS 54 to 31, Cedar Mountain was a 55 to 53 winner over Springfield, MVL gets a non league win over GFW 54 to 45, Tri City United defeats Sibley East 67 to 34, LCWM is a 36 to 24 winner over Waseca, St Clair defeats Blue Earth 51 to 44 and Westbrook/Walnut Grove defeats Red Rock Central 55 to 30.

On the Wrestling mat:

St James defeats Red Rock Central 54 to 21, as does TMB/WWG 65 to 11, Marshall wins a pair, 55 to 12 over Morris Area and 50 to 21 over Perham, Sibley East was a 48 to 30 winner over Springfield, Wabasso defeats Springfield 66 to 10 and Fulda/Murray County Central was a 63 to 6 over Springfield and 41 to 27 over Wabasso.

Boy’s Hockey finals:

Waseca picks up a 3 to 2 win over New Ulm, Worthington defeats Fairmont 7 to 2 and Willmar was a 6 to 3 winner over Marshall.

Girl’s Hockey results:

New Ulm shuts out South Central 1 to 0, Fairmont was a 5 to 0 winner over Worthington and Marshall remains unbeaten with a 5 to 4 win over Eden Prairie.

College Men’s Basketball:

Gustavus wins their fifth straight 93 to 71 win over Bethany Lutheran. Gustavus is now 8 and 2 heading into the Christmas break.
