The Dumont, Minnesota native spent 40 seasons calling Twins games on television, becoming one of the most recognizable and beloved broadcasters in franchise history. Bremer’s Hall of Fame plaque was unveiled before the game, followed by an on-field induction ceremony featuring family, friends and many of the Twins stars whose careers he chronicled. The first 5,000 fans through the gates also received a commemorative Dick Bremer Twins Hall of Fame pin.
