Luke Combs After FAST CAR Faux Pas: ‘I Wanted to Crawl In a Hole’
Instead of saying “WE gotta make a decision” . . . he said, “STILL gotta make a decision.”
At a recent concert, Luke talked about the blunder. He was reliving the moment when Tracy asked him why he switched the lyric and said, “And that was the first time that I knew that I recorded the song incorrectly. Because I remember when she said it, I wanted to crawl in a hole.”
Luckily, he said she was awesome about it, but that he will think about it every single time he sings the song for the rest of his life.
He closed his speech by saying, “So tonight I will probably sing ‘WE gotta make a decision’, because Tracy Chapman told me to- and damnit, I’m gonna do it.”
