Lynx beat Sparks 82-67 for their seventh straight victory in Los Angeles, 82-67

LOS ANGELES, CA – Bridget Carleton scored 16 points and Dorka Juhasz added 15 as the short-handed Minnesota Lynx triumphed over the Los Angeles Sparks with a score of 82-67 on Tuesday night.

The Lynx (16-6) extended their dominance in Los Angeles with their seventh consecutive victory there and have now won 13 of their last 14 meetings against the Sparks overall.

Minnesota seized control early in the game, hitting 11 of their first 16 shots with scoring contributions from nine different players. In contrast, Los Angeles struggled, managing only 3 of 12 from the field. The Lynx carried a commanding 51-35 lead into halftime, shooting an impressive 54% from the field, including 6 of 11 from beyond the arc.

Alissa Pili extended Minnesota’s lead to 25 points, 70-45, late in the third quarter.

Kayla McBride and Cecilia Zandalasini each contributed 11 points for Minnesota. Carleton was flawless from long range, converting all four of her 3-point attempts, helping the Lynx shoot 50% from downtown (9 for 18), while the Sparks struggled, making only 15% (3 for 20).

Napheesa Collier, Minnesota’s leading scorer and rebounder, sat out due to a foot injury.

For the Sparks (5-17), Dearica Hamby led the way with 18 points and eight rebounds. Azura Stevens, making her season debut after returning on Sunday, finished with nine points. Hamby reached a career milestone with a layup in the third quarter, surpassing 3,000 career points.
