Lynx come from behind to win Game 1

(Brooklyn, NY) — The Minnesota Lynx came back from an 18-point deficit to defeat the New York Liberty 95-93 in overtime of Game One of the W-N-B-A Finals. The comeback tied the largest in W-N-B-A Finals history. Napheesa Collier made a go-ahead jumper with 8.1 seconds left and New York was unable to convert on the other end. Collier had 21 points, eight rebounds, three steals and six blocks. Courtney Williams chipped in with 23 points and Kayla McBride added 22. Jonquel Jones had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Liberty in the loss. The series resumes Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
