Lynx Fall In NY/Collier, McBride Selected for All Star Game
(Brooklyn, NY) — The Minnesota Lynx fell apart in the fourth quarter and lost at New York last night 76-67.
The Lynx held a one-point lead entering the final frame before they were outscored 18-8 to end the game.
Kayla McBride led the team with 17 points in the losing effort, while Napheesa Collier had a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.
The Lynx were out-rebounded by the Liberty 44-37.
Minnesota is in third place in the W-N-B-A at 14-5.
The Lynx will host the Sun Thursday night.
In other team news, Collier and McBride were both selected to play in the WNBA All-Star Game, while forward Bridget Carleton was named to the Team Canada roster for the Summer Olympics.
