Lynx get win in LA
(Los Angeles, CA) — The Minnesota Lynx got off to a fast start and beat the Los Angeles Sparks last night 82-67 in L-A. Playing once again without star player Napheesa Collier, Minnesota led 29-16 after the first quarter and led by as many as 25 points in the victory. Collier is dealing with a foot injury. Bridget Carleton scored 16 points, while Dorka Juhasz finished with 15. The Lynx are in third place in the W-N-B-A at 16-6. The Sparks dipped to 5-17 and have lost ten of their past 11 contests. Los Angeles was led by Dearica Hamby, who had 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and a block. Minnesota visits Seattle on Friday night at 9 P-M.
