Lynx hold off Portland Scare

The Minnesota Lynx nearly let a huge lead disappear, but they still left Portland with an 85–81 win over the Fire Wednesday night. According to WNBA.com, Napheesa Collier had 20 points and nine rebounds, Kayla McBride scored 19, and Natasha Howard added 14 points and 12 boards. Minnesota led by as many as 29 in the third quarter before Portland ripped off a major comeback and got within one late. Olivia Miles helped seal it with free throws in the closing seconds. The Lynx improved to 28–7, have already clinched a playoff berth, and have won 13 of their last 14 games.
