Lynx move into WNBA Finals
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx are headed to the W-N-B-A Finals for the first time since 2017. Minnesota beat Connecticut 88-77 in Game Five of the best-of-five semifinal series at the Target Center last night. The Lynx jumped out to a 24-5 lead and never looked, getting 27 points and 11 rebounds from star forward Napheesa Collier. At one point the largest lead was 24 points for Minnesota.. Point guard Courtney Williams had 24 points for the Lynx, who will take on New York in Game One of the W-N-B-A Finals tomorrow night in Brooklyn at 7 P-M. Minnesota will host Games Three and Four with tickets on sale now. This will be the seventh championship series appearance for the Lynx, the most ever in W-N-B-A history.
