Lynx Survive Portland Comeback, 85–81

The Minnesota Lynx survived a furious Portland comeback to beat the Fire 85-to-81 Wednesday night.

Minnesota led by as many as 29 points midway through the third quarter before Portland pulled within one with less than two minutes remaining.

Napheesa Collier scored a game-high 20 points as the Lynx made enough plays down the stretch to hold on.

Minnesota improved to 28-and-7 and has won 13 of its last 14 games.
