Man Injured in Sibley Co Motorcycle/Deer Crash

A motorcyclist was severely injured after hitting a deer in Sibley County Sunday night north of Winthrop.

The Sheriff’s Office says 34-year-old Riley Dittes of Stewart was taken to Hutchinson Health for treatment of a severe head injury.

Dittes was traveling west on County Road 10 when he struck a deer that entered the roadway near the intersection with County Road 57.

The crash happened just after 9:30pm.
