Man Sentenced to More Than 106 Years for Sexual Assaults

(Learfield News/Montevideo, MN) — A Chippewa County man has been sentenced to more than 106 years in prison for a series of violent sexual assaults and stalking crimes.

A judge sentenced 27-year-old Jacory Dante McCalpin after a jury convicted him on 27 felony counts.

Prosecutors say McCalpin repeatedly sexually and physically assaulted the victim between July 2022 and December 2023, recording some of the attacks and using the videos to blackmail the victim into further abuse.
