Man Treated for Smoke Inhalation in Meeker County Fire

A Meeker County man was treated for smoke inhalation after his gas clothes dryer caught on fire Tuesday night south of Litchfield.

The Sheriff’s Office says 80-year-old Kenneth Jensen was treated at the scene.

On arrival, the Litchfield Fire Department was able to remove the dryer from the residence and put the fire out.

The fire was contained to the dryer, the immediate area around the dryer, and the house sustained minor smoke damage.
