MANKATO TEEN FACING CHARGES IN GOODSELL MURDER IS FACING BRIBERY CHARGES IN ROBBERY CASE
An 18-year-old facing charges in connection with the murder of Tyson Goodsell in North Mankato last month is now charged with bribery stemming from a separate robbery case. Ryan Wolner allegedly attempted to pay a witness to recant a statement in the November 30 robbery in Mankato. Court documents say Wolner allegedly offered $2000 to a witness and $5000 to the robbery victim to make a video recanting the victim’s original statement to police. The victim told police that Wolner pointed a handgun at him and was afraid Wolner would shoot him. Wolner allegedly took the victim’s wallet with around $900 in cash in it. Wolner is facing four felony charges related to that incident. He is also facing eight felony charges in connection with the murder of Tyson Goodsell on May 23. Wolner’s court date for the bribery charge is pending.
