MANKATO WEST HOCKEY TEAM HAS STICKS STOLEN

A Mankato boys hockey team has recovered some of its equipment following a theft at a northern Minnesota arena.  The team from Mankato West High School was set to play in the Heritage Hockey Classic tournament in Duluth Saturday when they discovered their sticks missing.  Detectives made an arrest late Saturday  night after finding a man with some of the hockey sticks.  The team has started a GoFundMe to purchase new sticks for those affected.
